All of our vans are 53 feet long and 110 inches wide with channeled raised
edged floors. Our refrigeration units will reach and maintain 0 degrees or below to satisfy any
and all type of product. They also meet the proposed 2016 C.A.R.B. requirement.
Meyer Trucking was founded on flatbed trailers. All 53 of our flatbeds are each 28 feet long and pulled in tandem. We can also combine our flatbeds with either grape gondolas or ag bulk baskets.
We have a variety of tankers for every particular job. With food-grade only
transport we haul wine juice, milk and other products and we have our own JPA spec washout
facility. All our tankers are also equipped with fall protection.
Teamed up with our flatbeds each gondola has a 6 1/2 ton capacity. With four
gondolas per set of trailers we are able to load up to 25 tons. Our lightweight equipment is key
in allowing us to transport maximum tonnage for our customers.
We have 11 hydraulic-equipped lowboys that are used for various types of equipment. All are tandem-axle and 48 feet long. We also have special lowbeds for overwidth loads.
Our bulk baskets are 11 1/2 feet long and 8 feet tall. We can load 24 tons
of product using 2 baskets per flatbed. We load product right in the field and haul directly to
the plant for processing. In the plant, the baskets are tilted over with a hoist and the
product is dumped to the conveyor.
